The St. Johns Cultural Council is the Local Arts Agency for St. Johns County, Florida with offices in beautiful St. Augustine, America’s Oldest City.

We are committed to ensuring that the lives of St. Johns County’s residents and visitors are enriched through a variety of arts, culture and heritage experiences.

We support local artists and cultural organizations through grants, professional development programs, and other capacity-building services.

We produce cultural events, fund arts education projects, create public art exhibitions, and manage the historic Waterworks and St. Augustine Beach Hotel as cultural centers for the community.

The Cultural Council provides arts, culture, and heritage tourism destination marketing services for the County’s Tourist Development Council and administers the County’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Grant Program. Funding for these services comes from a portion of the County’s tourist development tax.
