This Tourist Development Council funding program is administered by the St. Johns Cultural Council pursuant to an agreement with the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners. The intent of the ACH Grant Program is to increase the positive economic impacts of local tourism by encouraging exemplary arts, culture and heritage programming and supporting enhanced advertising and promotion of these quality tourism opportunities.

Grant Workshops and Grantwriting Support
Every applicant must attend a grant workshop before submitting an application.
This year’s workshops will be held at The Waterworks, 184 San Marco Avenue, on the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 19th at 10 AM
- Wednesday, April 20th at 3 PM
- Monday, April 25th at 1 PM

Individual appointments for additional assistance with grants will be available for applicants who have attended a grant workshop beginning May 1, 2022. You will receive a link to schedule appointments at the end of the workshop you attend.
Technical Review
Cultural Council staff reviews each application to ensure compliance with Grant Guidelines. Technical review will be completed as applications are received, and no later than June 30, 2022. You may be contacted with a request to provide additional information. No changes may be made to applications after submittal except in response to a request from Cultural Council staff.
Grant Review, Scoring and Funding Recommendations
Applications are scored by a Grant Review Panel during a public meeting at the St. Johns County Administration Building at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine Florida. Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting in person and will have an opportunity to provide a brief update and answer panelist questions.
The Grant Review Panel meeting will be scheduled during July, with funding recommendations presented to the TDC in August. Grant recommendations are approved as part of the Board of County Commissioners’ annual budget process.
