St. Johns County Tourist Development Council Arts, Culture and Heritage Grants
October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022
This Tourist Development Council (TDC) funding program is administered by the St. Johns Cultural Council pursuant to an agreement with the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners. The intent of the ACH Grant Program is to increase the positive economic impacts of local tourism by encouraging exemplary arts, culture and heritage programming and supporting enhanced advertising and promotion of these quality tourism opportunities.
We have proposed significant changes to grant guidelines for the upcoming fiscal year. You may review the draft guidelines here.
This draft was accepted by the Tourist Development Council on March 15, 2021 and will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for final approval in April.
The Grant Application Portal will open after BOCC approval of the guidelines. We anticipate that the grant portal will open in early May with an application deadline of June 30, 2021.
A series of helpful Grant Workshops will be scheduled in April and May. All applicants must attend at least one Grant Workshop.
Applications are scored by a Grant Review Panel during a public meeting at the St. Johns County Administration Building at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine Florida 32084. Applicants may attend the meeting in person or telephonically and will have an opportunity to provide a brief update and answer panelist questions. The Grant Review Panel Meeting will occur during July, 2021.
