Call for Artists - 2009 Paint Out
Interest in the Crescent Beach Paint Out continues to grow each year with many new artists asking to join us. So this year, we'll be going to a juried entry selection process to give everyone a chance at being in this year's event.
In order to allow for even greater participation, we've also expanded Crescent Beach 2009 to include Workshops and an Artists Retreat. These will give folks a chance to be a part of our event regardless of their selection status or their ability to be here for the entire week.
Create, Learn, Share & Explore - that's what we want to foster this year. So feel free to explore our entire website. If you want to apply for the 2009 Paint Out portion of our event, just click on the following link

Students at Crookshank Elementary School enjoyed a truly artistic day on March 26. Instead of following their regular schedule, they assembled by grade level for a variety of art and musical projects and performances. Art teacher Yvonne Delamar, along with Media Resource teacher Mary Linehan, principal Jay Willetts, and assistant principal, Bethany Groves, designed the celebration of the arts to encourage artistic expression and to keep students excited about the learning environment.
