St. Augustine, Florida - As a perfect tie-in to Saint Augustine's 450th Celebration, Romanza Festivale of the Arts has invited The Three Tellers to reprise "Holding Down the Homefront: World War II in Saint Augustine" on May 14, 2015. The show focuses on the Shortages, Submarines, Saboteurs, Strong Women, Spies, & War Bond Sales which Saint Augustine and greater Saint Johns County encountered during the war years.
WHO: The Three Tellers: Actor Margaret Kaler and Jane and Wayne Sims, otherwise known as The Storytelling Sims, are accomplished and renowned performers well-known to audiences in Florida and beyond.
WHAT: A fascinating program of wartime vignettes researched under the auspices of Saint Augustine Historical Society Research Library, Florida Humanities Council, and Tale Tellers of Saint Augustine.
