“An Affair to Remember” – St. Augustine Youth Orchestra Benefit
St. Augustine, FL—And what an affair it will be! An evening of exquisite music, fine sparkling wine, hors d’oeuvres, and the introduction of several talented young musicians who are among the very first members of the Youth Orchestra.
The St. Augustine Youth Orchestra is a new non-profit organization whose mission is the training of young musicians. The event will be held at the Riverview Club at 790 Christina Drive, St. Augustine Shores, on Thursday, May 14. Doors open at 7:00pm. “An Affair to Remember,” is part of St. Augustine Romanza Festivale of the Arts and is being produced to introduce SAYO to the community. Major sponsors of this Youth Orchestra event are Sterry Piano, St. Augustine Music Connection, Play It Forward, The St. Augustine Beach Civic Association, and ARIA Wines.
Guests will be greeted with the music of pianist Harvey Lettman, introduced to the complimentary sparking wines provided by ARIA Wines and enjoy a selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres.
The featured highlight of the evening will be an exciting performance by the very gifted concert pianist, Joseph Williams. A resident of Jacksonville, Mr. Williams has had a rich and varied professional life as a concert, jazz, trio and society pianist. He has held positions as resident pianist at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, as well as the Millionaire’s Village in Georgia’s Golden Isles.
Tickets for this memorable event are only $30 per person, General Admission. For Advance Sales only there is limited VIP Stage-Side seating at $40 per person. Reserved VIP Stage-Side tables for eight are also available at $280. Advance sales end on Tuesday, May 12.
