Saint Augustine, Florida (December 3, 2015) – The 6th Annual Saint Augustine Film Festival will run January 28 – 31 in downtown St Augustine. The Festival will feature 35 films from around the world, 3 parties, and filmmakers.
There will twenty-two feature films from Italy, France, Argentina, Israel, Canada, Jordan, Cuba, Korea, Japan, United States, India & Vietnam. There will be eleven documentaries from Poland, South Africa, Japan, Vietnam, Germany, Patagonia, and United States. The film venues are lewis Auditorium, Gamache – Koger Theatre, The Virginia Room and the Corazon Cinema with three separate theatres.
“The Opening Night Party takes place Friday, January 29th. Cocktail hour will begin at 6pm in the Lobby of The Lightner Museum including live music by The Freenotes, drinks and Hors d’oeuvres. The Opening Night Film, LE PERE NOEL, will take place at the Lewis Auditorium just across the street at 7:30pm. Following the film, dinner will take place back at The Lightner Museum beginning at 9pm in the former indoor swimming pool featuring live music by The Datil Duo band and dancing until 11pm. Individual tickets are not available as that all tickets for the Party are exclusive to All-Access Pass holders (see Tickets & Badges below).”
The Saturday Night Party is at Centro Restaurant located on the town square. The gathering of film-goers is open to all with your ticket stub from 7:45pm screening of 3 DAYS IN HAVANA starring special guest Gil Bellows (THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION plus 40 other films…and was Ally McBeal’s boyfriend). The get-together will have complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
The Wrap Party is Sunday, January 31 in the magnificent Solarium atop Ponce Hall. The party follows the Closing Night Film which begins at 5:30pm at Lewis Auditorium. It is open to all Premium Film Passes and All-Access Passes. There will be a fantastic buffet including pasta and carving stations, shrimp, sushi, casseroles, salads, breads, cheeses and dessert. Wine and beer is also complimentary.
Tickets & Badges
Individual tickets are $10 General Admission and $8 for Seniors (60 yrs & over). The All-Access badge is $125 and includes all films and parties. The All Films Plus Badge is $95 and includes the Saturday and Sunday parties. The Films Only Badge is $70.
