Low Country Boil & Beer Fest Benefits St. Francis House

January 15, 2016

The savory scent of fresh seafood will fill the St. Augustine Marina on Saturday, March 19th as the St. Augustine First Annual Low Country Boil and Beer Fest starts at 11 am. The Marina next to the Bridge of Lions is the perfect location for this food festival that also features live music, mermaids, dance performances and more. Scott Ramsey, the Beach Bum Pirate, is part of the day’s entertainment.

A great low country boil menu has a Southern Coastal heritage and features perfectly seasoned shrimp, corn, sausage and potatoes. Completing the menu will be BBQ chicken, beer, water and soda. Food and beverages will be available for a nominal charge and enjoyed while seated beneath the entertainment tent.

The St. Augustine Low Country Boil & Beer Fest is promoted by Southern Promotions & Events, Inc. of Palm Coast, to benefit St. Francis House. Admission to the event is free.

Since 1984, St. Francis House has been assisting the homeless and those in need within our community. It is the only comprehensive housing crisis center between Jackson and Daytona Beach.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. For information about the festival contact Dave Kolodzik of Southern Promotions & Events at 386-405-9189 or Karen Lundquist, St. Francis House Special Events at 904-829-8937 or klundquiststfrancisshelter@yahoo.com
