A Learning Opportunity with SJCC: National Arts Marketing Project

National Arts Marketing Project
June 29, 2016

FUELING CHANGE: 16th Annual National Arts Marketing Project Conference, November 11-14 in Austin, Texas.

Once again, the St. Johns Cultural Council (SJCC) is forming a 6 person "Arts Culture & Heritage (ACH) Marketing Team" to attend the National Arts Marketing Project Conference. Last year the team went to Salt Lake City and this year in November it will be in Austin.

The goal is to have a cross section of St. Johns County ACH leaders representing the Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Festivals, and Museums join SJCC staff and Shepherd Agency staff in learning the "best practices" in arts and culture advertising and marketing. Following the conference, the ACH Marketing Team will hold one or more workshops to share the learning tools with other members of our ACH community.

The registration fee of $450 per person will be funded by SJCC as part of our 2016 Marketing Plan to enhance the skills of ACH groups.  Hotel and travel will be each team member's responsibility.

For a complete description of this highly successful and important conference presented by Americans for the Arts go to http://www.artsmarketing.org/conference. Registration starts July 1st.

The conference focus is for all arts, culture and heritage organizations not just arts councils.
