CULTURAL COUNCIL GRANT HELPS TO FUND MUSIC CLASSES AT THE O.U.R. CENTER IN HASTINGS

Icon The O.U.R. Center in Hastings is committed to its community, especially its children. Tom Santoni teaches summer music classes for K – 6 students at the Center. When the St. Johns Cultural Council issued a call for “State of the Arts” grant proposals, Tom applied. In his proposal he stated that the project will “continue to nurture the emotional and intellectual development of at-risk children through music and positive classroom interactions.” The Grant Review Committee, familiar with the outstanding work done by educators at the Center, funded his proposal.
